Man,  I have to go all the way back to Thanksgiving time... Let's hope I can remember!
On Thanksgiving I ate taco's and told 4 Australians everything I knew about the holiday. Definitely the most different Thanksgiving I've ever had but it was a blast nonetheless.
Dillon and Brian went to Jeffrey's bay and surfed their beach bumming lives away.
Brian went back to California. :( Sad day.
Had an awesome time with the Haakonsens during the Christmas/New Years holiday. They're such a wondering, giving, and hilarious family. It's been so great to get to know them.
Got some awesome new roommates! The Geurink family from Holland, Michigan serving for 5 years and Laury from Chino, California serving for 1. They're so much fun, such a blessing!
Laury brought me a few presents from home, it was the best surprise ever. A beautiful camera that I've wanted for quite a while. It came at such a good time, right when i was really missing home. I cried.
Had Christmas with the kiddies and gave out presents that a church from Johannesburg donated. Such an awesome day. I've never seen so much joy fill a room. The kids faces when you called their names to come receive their gifts was just unexplainable!
Mark and Emily from Australia came to volunteer... More roommates! They were here for a month and left 2 weeks ago. Dillon actually knew Mark way back in the day and it was so funny to hear them talk about stories when they were 12 and about Dillon's love for Grand Theft Auto back in the day. Haha!
It's crazy that I've been here for 4 months now! Time has flown. I'll be updating more regularly! Sorry again everyone... Won't happen again!
